Grayslake is a great town. It’s where I met my wife and it is the town that I proudly call home. There are many reasons why we chose to live hear. Its a small town with a bunch to offer. Great dining, community events and just plain great for raising kids.
The annual Pumpkin Fest held by the Grayslake Park District is an awesome event for the family. Lots of fun activities and a costume contest at the end of the night. My son is the orange dinosaur on the left side. Good times.
Grayslake has established itself as a place to go for good food. The variety of restaurants give everyone an option for food.
Unfortunately, the Town of Grayslake does not seem to either appreciate or understand the difference brick pavers make. The downtown are has fake stamped concrete that look terrible. Even the neighboring town of Round Lake, which has significantly smaller budgets, have brick pavers installed in the down town areas. COME ON GRAYSLAKE! Get with the times, we know you have the budget.
For the beer lover, Grayslake is also known for their famous annual Grayslake Beer Fest help every year on Center Street in downtown Grayslake. Look at the crowds!
